Uzbekistan, within the framework of an intergovernmental agreement, began importing gasoline from the Russian Federation in November. This was announced by the Minister of Energy of the Republic Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov.

"To date, deliveries of imported gasoline from Russian companies have begun. Thanks to the agreement reached in October, the first shipments began to arrive in November," he said during a speech in the Legislative Chamber of the Parliament of Uzbekistan.

    J. Mirzamakhmudov added that the situation with gasoline in Uzbekistan was affected by the temporary restriction of gasoline exports from Russia. According to him, during the visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Moscow in October, an intergovernmental agreement was reached, according to which Uzbekistan was given the opportunity to export gasoline regardless of the presence or absence of restrictions.

Earlier, the minister on the sidelines of the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum said that Uzbekistan and Russia signed an intergovernmental agreement on the supply of oil and petroleum products. "There are no volumes there. The most important principle is the issue of supplies," he added.
