Uzbekistan has lifted a 10-day quarantine for those entering from a number of countries

    By the decision of the Special Commission for Combating Coronavirus in Uzbekistan, the requirement to undergo a 10-day quarantine at home or in a hotel for passengers of flights from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Egypt, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic was canceled.

    The requirement has been in effect since the beginning of December 2021, it was introduced in connection with the spread of the omicron coronavirus strain

    In addition, international flights with Hong Kong, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mozambique, Namibia, Eswatini, Tanzania and South Africa are being restored.

    According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, citizens of third countries who have visited these states in the last 14 days are now allowed to enter the territory of Uzbekistan.
