In January-November 2023, about 1.3 thousand tons of pineapples were imported into the country. The volume of pineapple imports increased by 594 tons compared to the corresponding period in 2022. This is reported by the Statistics Agency.
In 11 months, Uzbekistan imported pineapples from nine countries.
The countries from which the most pineapples were imported:
China - 756.5 tons;
Kazakhstan - 280.4 tons;
Costa Rica - 103.4 tons;
Kenya - 53.8 tons;
Turkey - 36.3 tons;
Ecuador - 22 tons.
