Moreover, the following medicinal products were added to the List of medicines and biologically active substances imported without registration to Uzbekistan, subject to mandatory certification:
- influenza vaccine (ARVI);
- coronavirus vaccine (COVID-19);
- pneumococcal vaccine;
- barium sulfate;
- pancuronium bromide / pipcuronium bromide / atracurium besylate;
- cefepime-tazobactam;
- nitroglycerin.
Until March 1, 2021, they are exempted from paying value added tax on the import of medicinal substances (substances) used for the production of drugs that are used in the treatment of patients with COVID-19 infection.
In addition, the period of implementation and customs clearance without registration in Uzbekistan of medical devices, medicines and medicinal components used for their production has been extended from October 1, 2020 to March 1, 2021.
