Uzbekistan has entered the list of countries with the most accessible Internet

    According to Rosstat and international statistics, Central Asian countries have some of the lowest Internet prices in the world.

    In Uzbekistan, the average cost of home Internet is $11.5 per month, which makes it one of the cheapest in the region. In Kyrgyzstan, tariffs are slightly higher - $11.7, and in Kazakhstan - $12.7, writes FinTech & Retail Eurasia.

    For comparison, in China, the Internet costs $11.3, in Turkey - $13.8. Among the world's largest economies, Russia ranks second in terms of Internet availability - $8.7 per month, second only to India ($7.7). Romania is in third place ($9.8).

    The most expensive countries to connect to are the United States ($72.1), Canada ($61.7) and Luxembourg ($59.1).

    At the same time, the burden on the family budget from Internet spending is minimal in Russia (0.67%), Romania (0.9%) and South Korea (0.97%), while the maximum share is in Brazil (4.1%), Mexico (3.8%) and Argentina (3.65%).
