According to the updated YouTube security policy, users under the age of 16 will not be able to start live broadcasts on their own if there is no adult in the frame or he is not registered on the channel as a manager, editor or owner.
In case of violation of the rules:
the chat will be disabled;
translation functions are limited;
the broadcast can be deleted.
Attempts to circumvent the rules (for example, broadcasting through another channel) are considered a violation and may lead to account blocking.
Although YouTube has not officially explained the reason for the innovations, according to experts, these measures are aimed at protecting teenagers from risks on live TV, such as the dissemination of personal information, unwanted chat messages and other threats.
The company emphasizes that streams are an unpredictable format that requires additional control.
Despite the possible difficulties for novice bloggers, YouTube believes that the safety of children is more important than any consequences.
