The results of the monitoring will be integrated into the electronic platform "Implementation of seismological observations in reservoirs".

According to the press service of the Uzbekcosmos Agency, important data will be collected on this electronic platform, such as the results of space monitoring of reservoirs, in particular, the real condition of existing dams, their shear and subsidence indicators, seismic resistance and the degree of extreme danger of dams.

In order to constantly monitor the processes, a "Commission for the study of space monitoring of seismic resistance of dams of reservoirs" will be established.

It is known that constant monitoring of the strength level of dams of reservoirs is important in assessing their strain-stress state, since in the strain-stress state the dam is sensitive to an earthquake and in the event of an emergency at the most vulnerable point, the probability of damage increases.

These measures make it possible to constantly study the state of strength and serviceability of reservoir dams, analyze possible emergencies in advance and identify possible shifts in them.
