Uzbekneftegaz: the price of diesel fuel will decrease by 15%

    Uzbekistan plans to reduce diesel fuel prices by 15%. This is reported by Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

    This task was set for Uzbekneftegaz JSC at a video conference held yesterday under the chairmanship of the President on the use of new reserves in agriculture and priorities for 2024.

    The head of Uzbekistan has set a one-week deadline to reduce the price of diesel fuel put up for auction by 15%.

    Bahodir Sidikov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, noted that this task is feasible and will be achieved by increasing the production of diesel from local raw materials. He added that the capacities of the Uzbekistan GTL enterprise will be used, which can produce diesel at a lower price compared to its imported counterpart.

    B. Sidikov expressed confidence that Uzbekneftegaz JSC will complete the task set by the President of Uzbekistan within a week.
