In accordance with the Decree, the following procedure for mandatory professional development of judges and court staff will be introduced:
judges appointed for a five-year term - every two years for a period of at least two weeks.;
judges appointed for a ten-year term - every three years for a period of at least two weeks.;
judges of the Supreme Court, chairmen and deputy chairmen of courts, as well as judges appointed for an indefinite period - every three years for at least one week.;
Judges with low performance ratings are out of turn for at least two weeks.;
court staff - every two years for a period of at least one week.
Advanced training courses are organized for current judges in complex categories of cases.
As a rule, only judges who have successfully completed leadership retraining courses are appointed to the relevant senior positions in the courts of districts (cities) and regions.
Starting from the academic year 2026/2027, training at the Academy will be organized on the basis of a practical master's degree program in the specialty "Judicial Activity".
