The manual has been prepared taking into account the experience of teaching foreign languages and the recommendations of specialists from the Uzbek State University of World Languages and the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
The introduction of the book describes the features of the Uzbek language, the stages of its development and the history of the formation of the Uzbek people.
The main part of the book consists of 22 lessons, which, unlike other manuals, do not provide detailed explanations of major topics, but focus on teaching the most important rules and structures necessary for learning a foreign language. The complexity of the material is gradually increasing.
Special attention is paid to the explanation of verb tenses in the Uzbek language, as this often causes difficulties for foreign students. In the manual, these rules are set out in a simplified form and compared to English, which differs from traditional approaches.
Each lesson ends with short exercises and texts, while the number of exercises is limited to avoid overloading the student.
The end of the book contains additional sections to facilitate language learning. Uzbek dialects and their differences are considered, as well as widely used loan words that are not included in the literary language.
In addition, the book contains popular Uzbek poems and songs with direct translations of complex words, as well as interesting information about Uzbekistan, its ancient cities and prominent historical figures.
At the end of the book, a mini-dictionary of Uzbek-English active words is presented, which includes more than 2,500 units selected based on frequency analysis using various programs.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan distributes the manual among Egyptian libraries and Cairo University students studying Uzbek. In the future, it is planned to send the book through the embassies of Uzbekistan in other countries to universities where the Uzbek language is taught.
The manual is available to an international audience in electronic and color print versions on AMAZON platforms in America, Europe and Asia, as well as as an application on Google Books and Google Play.
In addition, the textbook has been translated into Russian and is available in electronic format under the title "Uzbek: A complete course in 22 lessons" on the LITERS platform.
The manual is also currently being translated into Arabic.
