During the aftermath of the incident, it was discovered that one of the residents of the house, a teenager born in 2007, was seriously injured after a concrete slab fell on him and died on the spot. There were no reports of injuries to other residents.
Law enforcement officers and other responsible law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene. They began to extinguish the fire, establish the causes of the explosion and inspect the scene.
Deputy Interior Minister R. Ashropov coordinated the work of the investigative task force on the spot. The officers were instructed to document the scene of the incident in accordance with the Code of Criminal Procedure, to seize items relevant to the investigation, as well as to interview witnesses and carry out other necessary investigative actions.
On this fact, the Investigative Department No. 2 of the territorial Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ferghana region initiated a criminal case under part 2 of Article 259 "a" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The investigation has been taken under control by the Investigative Department.
