    In January-March 2024, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $ 15.8 billion, which is 6.2% more than in the same period of 2023. Exports amounted to $6.4 billion (+10.0%), while imports amounted to $9.4 billion (+3.8%).

    According to the Statistics Agency, China remained Uzbekistan's main trading partner, with a trade share of 19.0%, followed by Russia (17.7%) and Kazakhstan (5.9%).

    In March, Uzbekistan exported more than $1.3 billion worth of gold, as well as in February this year. In general, in the first quarter, exports of precious metals amounted to almost $ 2.7 billion (in the first quarter of 2023 - $ 2.4 billion).
