In the first four months of 2024, Uzbekistan exported 514.8 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables. The total value of exports amounted to $298.5 million.
According to the Statistics Agency, this figure increased by 43.3% compared to the same period in 2023. The share of exports of fruits and vegetables amounted to 3.5% of the total exports of the republic for the specified period.
The main markets for Uzbek fruit and vegetable products include Russia (26.3%), Pakistan (24.2%), Kazakhstan (13%) and China (9.3%).
