The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan held talks with the delegation of the Omsk region

    On April 26, 2022, negotiations were held at the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan with a delegation of the Omsk region headed by its governor Alexander Burkov.

    Welcoming the Chairman of the Government of the Omsk region and members of the delegation, First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Azim Akhmedkhadzhayev noted the great prospects for energy cooperation between the parties in various directions.

    In turn, A. Burkov said that Uzbekistan is one of the main and significant foreign trade partners of the Omsk region. At the same time, the rapidly developing energy sector opens up new prospects for cooperation.

    The parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of digital energy, including the use of intelligent devices and systems for the electric networks of NPO MIR LLC, the supply of boiler and heat engineering equipment of Omsk Plant of Innovative Technologies CJSC, as well as the possibility of creating a joint production with this enterprise.

    During the discussion, the Governor of the Omsk region made a detailed presentation of the possibilities of the industrial sector for supplies and cooperation in the production of products for the energy sector of Uzbekistan.

    "I am sure that the interaction of our enterprises in the energy sector will allow us to bring cooperation between the Omsk region and Uzbekistan to a qualitatively new level," A. Burkov stressed.
