Reports are spreading on social networks that it is now allegedly allowed to transfer to universities in Uzbekistan without any exams. However, all of them are false, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education said.

Fake messages are distributed on behalf of the Ministry of Education. In particular, they say that all students wishing to transfer to Uzbekistan are allowed to do so without passing any exams and that all documents for transfer will be accepted until February 15.

The ministry said that such reports are groundless, and appealed to activists of social networks that before spreading such "news" they need to be checked.

The Ministry of Higher Education highlighted, "The most important aspect and the "golden rule" of journalism is to publish not any, but verified, substantiated information”.

At the same time, it is recalled that in Uzbekistan, the norms of administrative and criminal liability are established for the dissemination of unfounded and false information.
