The current state and prospects of cooperation between the Central Asian countries and China were discussed at the MICA

    On October 11, a round table on "One Belt, One Road: New Opportunities for Central Asian Countries" was held at the International Institute of Central Asia (MICA) with the participation of the heads of diplomatic missions of Central Asian countries and China.

    The event was timed to coincide with the upcoming 3rd Forum of International Cooperation "One Belt and One Road" with the participation of the heads of state, which will be held in Beijing, according to the news agency "Dunyo".

    During the round table, the participants discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between the Central Asian countries and China in various fields, including politics, economy, trade, investment, energy, combating climate change, water conservation, green technologies, education and culture.

    At the same time, the importance of cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and China within the framework of the "One Belt and One Road" initiative was emphasized. The parties noted that over the past 10 years, significant progress has been made in the construction of international corridors and routes of economic cooperation.

    - This year marks the anniversary of the initiative "One Belt, one Road". The initiative is based on the principles of openness, peace, cooperation and inclusiveness, mutual learning and borrowing, mutual benefit and common gain. Cooperation within the framework of the initiative brings significant results not only for China, but also for the countries of Central Asia.

    - The initiative "One Belt, One Road" is an initiative that shows real results. This initiative gave points to the development of transport and logistics development of the region. New transport corridors are being created based on the benefits for each project participant.

    It should be noted that the "One Belt, One Road" initiative is not only transport corridors, but for ten years the initiative has been growing through industrial cooperation, new technologies that allow us to produce products for the needs of our large Central Asian region, but also for export.

    - Today, during the event, all participants spoke about the importance of the "One Belt and One Road" initiative. It plays an important role in strengthening friendship and economic cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and China. The initiative made it possible to solve many issues, especially in the field of logistics, transport and other sectors of national economies.

    The international round table made it possible to discuss at the expert level the significance and relevance of the "One Belt, One Road" project for the countries of Central Asia and China, following the results of the event, it was possible to develop proposals and initiatives that will be aimed at its further development.
