First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Ayubkhon Rakhmatullayev opened the negotiations, presenting the guest with information on the results of reforms and transformations implemented in the internal affairs system in recent years.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the ECO member states.
Special attention was paid to the exchange of information and best practices in the field of combating transnational crime, limiting illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, as well as measures to ensure cybersecurity and counter terrorism.
Following the talks, the participants stressed the importance of continuing a constructive dialogue and agreed to develop practical cooperation in a number of areas aimed at strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Economic Cooperation Organization.
