In three years of touring, the ballet was able to win the hearts of audiences in Dubai, Istanbul, Bursa, Dortmund, Moscow, Paris and St. Petersburg. This success is explained by the incredibly sensual narration of the ancient lazgi dance performed by the troupe of the National Ballet of Uzbekistan under the guidance of the magnificent choreographer Raimondo Rebecca.
The performance in Beijing was presented as part of the Days of Culture of Uzbekistan in the People's Republic of China.
"Woven for thousands of years on the land of Khorezm, lazgi has become the guardian of ancient wisdom about the endless possibilities of national creativity. The lasga dance is a moment when every movement, every whirlwind, every fiery step becomes a symbol of respect for the ancestors, for the rich history and boundless beauty of Uzbek culture.
I want to express my deep gratitude for the warm welcome and this amazing artistic celebration," Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote on her Telegram channel.
