As previously reported, the initiative to hold the forum was put forward by the head of state during the first Central Asia-European Union summit, held in Samarkand on April 4, 2025.

The international dialogue is attended by representatives of the parliaments of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, members of the European Parliament, as well as experts, representatives of international organizations, civil society institutions, academia and the business community.

The forum will host important sessions on such topical issues as the state of modern political dialogue and its future prospects, green transformation, economic interconnectedness, security in the digital space, inclusive governance and the modern importance of parliamentary diplomacy.
