Issues of further strengthening of friendship relations and special strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and South Korea, further expansion of large-scale cooperation, in particular, in the field of labor relations, were discussed.

Attention is paid to the importance of the role of inter-parliamentary dialogue in the development of bilateral relations. In this vein, the effectiveness of the work of the special commission headed by the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis on cooperation with the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea in ensuring parliamentary control over the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level between our countries, "road maps" was emphasized.

It was noted that the summit of the Korean side on inter-parliamentary cooperation "Central Asia + Republic of Korea" in a new format, scheduled for September this year, will open up new opportunities for expanding multilateral relations.

During the dialogue, it was noted that in the bilateral relations between our states, the direction related to labor relations, the joint development of the legal framework for the implementation of projects in this direction, the resolution of issues on the activation of proposals, negotiations and meetings and the definition of directions are of great importance.

Proposals have also been put forward for the implementation of joint projects within the framework of the UN Global Accelerator initiative to create jobs and ensure universal social support."

It was noted that the signing of a Memorandum of cooperation between the relevant ministries of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea will bring bilateral relations to a new level.

As part of the implementation of the Memorandum, a proposal was supported to develop a joint action plan reflecting cooperation in addressing issues of labor protection, gender equality, as well as the implementation of the "Better work" program.
