The delegations of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan are taking part in it as an honorary guest, the Dunyo news agency reports
The agenda of the event includes the implementation of agreements reached within the framework of the first summit of the heads of State of Central Asia and the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf, held on July 19, 2023 in Jeddah, prospects for the development of cooperation in political, trade and economic, investment, transport and communication, cultural and humanitarian fields, as well as in the field of security and safety the environment.
It is also expected that an exchange of views will take place on preparations for the next Summit in the format of "Central Asia - Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf" in Samarkand in 2025.
A joint statement is planned to be adopted at the end of the event.
