The event is organized by the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in partnership with the International Institute of Central Asia, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and the Friedrich Ebert German Foundation.
The conference will be attended by the heads and prominent experts of the leading analytical centers of Central Asia, the CIS, the EU, China, India, Turkey, Pakistan, Malaysia and other countries. In total, there are more than 40 foreign delegates from 25 countries.
The agenda includes discussion of the state and prospects for the development of regional cooperation, consideration of foreign experience in this area, exchange of views on the role and place of Central Asia in the modern system of world economic relations, as well as the importance of the cultural and civilizational heritage of the region in strengthening dialogue and trust.
