The legal framework in the field of biodiversity conservation was discussed in Tashkent

    An international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Legal issues of the use of scientific achievements in the conservation of biological diversity" was held at Tashkent State Law University.

    The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, employees of higher educational institutions and research institutes of Uzbekistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, students and others.

    Within the framework of the conference, the participants considered issues of policy in the field of biodiversity of Uzbekistan and the participating countries of the conference, the international legal procedure for the import and export of biological resources, the role and importance of artificial intelligence in the legal protection of biodiversity and other issues.

    One of the key aspects of the discussion was the introduction of innovative technologies for monitoring and protecting biological resources. The participants noted that the use of advanced technologies significantly increases the effectiveness of nature protection measures. The speakers stressed the importance of introducing artificial intelligence for big data analysis, which allows faster identification of threats to ecosystems and the development of effective strategies to eliminate them.

    Special attention was paid to the legal aspects of international cooperation in the field of biodiversity protection. The possibilities of unifying the legislations of the participating countries of the conference to create a unified legal framework that would contribute to more effective protection of biological resources at the global level were discussed. The participants exchanged experiences in the field of legislative regulation, which allowed them to identify best practices and propose new approaches to solving existing problems.

    Following the results of the conference, the proposals will be drafted in the form of a bill and submitted to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
