The event covers such priority tasks as discussing the prospects for the global development of kurash, its popularization, strengthening its position at the Asian Games, as well as the development of a scientific approach in this sport.
The conference is attended by the heads of the International Kurash Association, the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Olympic Committee, the Kurash Federation of the country, as well as scientists and specialists from the International Kurash Institute and the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports.
The event discusses such topical issues as the inclusion of kurash in the Olympic Sports program, wide popularization among young people, and the improvement of the training process using modern technologies.
