The new format of cooperation, created on the initiative of Uzbekistan, will become a mechanism for launching joint industrial projects and deepening cooperation between the countries of the region.
It is noted that the share of industry in Uzbekistan's GDP has reached 27%, and industrial production has doubled in recent years. In 2025, trade turnover with partner countries exceeded $21 billion, and in the first quarter of 2026 it increased by another 26%.
During the meeting, the importance of moving from traditional trade cooperation to deeper industrial cooperation was emphasized.
Among the suggestions:
development of a unified program for industrial cooperation and localization of production;
Launch of the Young Industrial Leaders 2030 initiative aimed at training 10,000 qualified specialists;
creation of an expert group to promote joint projects.
Following the meeting, a joint communique was signed, consolidating the agreements reached and directions for further cooperation.
