The event was attended by Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov, Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Ziyozoda Sulaimon Rizoi and Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan Sherali Kabir.
The exposition has an area of 1,300 square meters. The exhibition has become a key platform for demonstrating the industrial potential of the two countries. The Uzbek side is represented by more than 180 companies from 15 industries, including textiles, electrical engineering, pharmaceuticals and the automotive industry, which presented over 450 types of products. More than 30 companies from 10 sectors are participating from Tajikistan, presenting about 200 items of goods.
The exhibition, which runs until March 27, is aimed at strengthening industrial cooperation between the two countries. More than 500 business representatives and industry associations are expected to participate daily.
The program of the event includes meetings in B2B and G2B formats, presentations of export potential, as well as substantive negotiations on the conclusion of trade contracts and agreements on long-term partnership between entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
