The festival is timed to coincide with the International Jazz Day, which since 2012 has been celebrated on April 30 on the initiative of UNESCO. Uzbekistan has been participating in the global celebration of jazz since 2015.
The festival is held with the aim of uniting musicians of Uzbekistan and foreign countries for concerts, master classes and creative meetings, as well as creating a space for cultural cooperation.
The festival program will be attended by performers from Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Romania, the USA, Ukraine, France, Switzerland and Uzbekistan.
