In order to implement the relevant resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as to ensure road safety and improve the convenience of movement of the urban population and public transport, an inspection of the streets of Tashkent with active traffic was carried out.
Based on the results of the analysis, a targeted repair program has been developed, including a list of streets that require current and major renovation in 2025. As part of the program, it is planned to repair roads with a total area of more than 65,000 m2.
The work will be carried out by specialized units using technologies and materials that ensure the durability of the coating and will begin on March 7.
In order to avoid traffic jams and minimize inconveniences, road works will be organized mainly outside peak hours.
"We understand that temporary inconveniences can cause discomfort to residents, but the work carried out will ensure relatively comfortable movement and safety. We ask you to be understanding in advance, for which we express our gratitude," the Tashkent khokimiyat said in a statement.
