The main purpose of the event is to help ensure the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level between the Central Asian States and the Republic of Korea, deepen interparliamentary dialogue and bring interaction to a new level.
The plenary session of the third session on the topic: "Cooperation for the sake of human dignity, social justice and Environmental protection" is dedicated to the priorities of regional cooperation between the Central Asian States and the Republic of Korea in the near future.
It is planned to hold two sessions on the following topics: "Economic cooperation, digital transformation and industry: ways to the prosperity of the countries of the region" and "Sustainable development and environmental protection: the role of parliaments in ensuring the implementation of environmental initiatives".
At meetings with members of interparliamentary commissions and friendship groups, in order to study best practices in the field of legislation, it is also planned to organize think-tank discussions with representatives of the scientific community.
A joint declaration is expected to be adopted at the end of the meeting.
It should be noted that the first meeting in this format was held on September 19, 2023 in Seoul, the second on October 14, 2024 in Ashgabat.
