The official opening ceremony of the Iranian House of Innovation and Technology took place in Tashkent

    As part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Islamic Republic of Iran, an official opening ceremony of the Iranian House of Innovation and Technology in Tashkent (IHITT) was held in Tashkent.

    It was attended by Iran's Vice President for Science and Technology and Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov from Tehran online, who noted the further strengthening of relations between the two countries in the field of science, innovation and education.

    First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Komiljon Karimov, heads of the House of Innovation Fakhrulla Lutfiev and Rasul Beheshtigar took part in the opening ceremony of the House of Innovation and Technology of Iran in Tashkent. The event was also attended by representatives of government agencies, the diplomatic corps, officials, business circles, university rectors and media representatives.

    The Iranian House of Innovations and Technologies in Tashkent organizes a permanent exhibition of innovative technologies, products and services of Iranian companies within the framework of an international program designed to facilitate the process of introducing new high-tech technologies in Uzbekistan.

    On June 18 of this year, IHITT in Tashkent was officially opened as the representative office of the Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Science and Technology in Uzbekistan.

    It was created with the aim of organizing a platform for knowledge exchange, technology transfer, development of an innovation ecosystem and bilateral relations between Iran and Uzbekistan. It is also aimed at contributing to economic growth, social welfare and sustainable development of the two countries through cooperation in the field of science and technology.

    IHITT acts as a bridge between Uzbekistan and Iran and helps to develop technological exchange, cooperation and partnership between the two countries.
