The plenary session of the second Uzbek-Belarusian Women's Business Forum was held in Tashkent

    As part of the visit of the delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, a plenary session of the second Uzbek-Belarusian women's business Forum on the topic "From traditional business to green business" was held. More than 500 entrepreneurs took part in it.

    The event was opened by Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva and Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalia Kochanova.

    Representatives of the governments of the two countries, heads of ministries and departments also spoke at the plenary session, who noted that the results of the Uzbek-Belarusian Women's Business Forum are the basis for continuing effective economic partnership between the two countries.

    In addition, the participants noted that the cooperation achieved following the results of the first business forum opens the way for new promising projects.

    In turn, during the dialogue, the expediency of expanding cooperation in the chemical, pharmaceutical and woodworking industries, exchanging advanced technologies, and expanding cooperation between manufacturers was emphasized.

    At the same time, taking into account the relevance of the "green agenda" on a global scale, it was noted that cooperation in the field of electric power and green energy is of priority importance. There is also a need for active cooperation in the field of science, education and innovation.

    During the dialogue, proposals were also put forward, such as the establishment of parliamentary control over the implementation of business projects and agreements reached within the framework of the forum, the exchange of experience and the expansion of internships for students, teachers, specialists of various services and structures, as well as cooperation on the implementation of environmental safety guarantees.

    At the end of the plenary session, business circles and businessmen of the two countries signed cooperation agreements and commercial contracts in various sectors of the economy, such as the service sector, chemical and woodworking, light industry, food industry, mechanical engineering, electrical industry, electric power and green energy.
