On October 23, the opening ceremony of the Week and the Forum took place. The director of the Center for Research on the Development of Higher Education under the Ministry, Shukhrat Yakubov, delivered congratulatory words.

Cultural and educational programs, creative meetings, book presentations, seminars for industry specialists and readers, round tables, contests, master classes, as well as creative meetings with representatives of science and culture, artists and creative teams are planned to be held during the week.

From the weekly program "Betgerxonlik-2023. New libraries of Uzbekistan - a space of knowledge and development", practical training for young librarians, presentation of the book "Application of modern methods of library propaganda" (SMM, content management in social networks), published in the publishing house "Spirituality" of the book "Berun scientific and philosophical heritage in the history of Western scientists" and a meeting with the creators, Renaissance libraries - new generation library: my opinion, poster contest "From idea to result", creative meetings with the creators of the film "Abdulla Oripov" on the theme "Picture of the Year".

In the XII Week of the national information library "INFOLIB Uzbekistan-2023", directors of information and resource centers of higher educational institutions and at the III forum "Young Librarians" for the first time this year, representatives of the information and library sphere of higher educational institutions under the age of 35 will take part.
