As a result of the meeting held by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Seoul with the Medical Command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Korea, an agreement was reached on the organization in 2023 of training of medical specialists of the Ministry of Defense of our country in courses on emergency medical care in the field.

In 2022, 12 Uzbek servicemen became one of the first foreign representatives to be trained in these courses, since the receipt of international accreditation by the Medical School of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Korea as the organizer of these courses.

At the end of the training, all Uzbek servicemen successfully passed practical tests before the Commission of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Korea. Taking into account the successful completion of the international standards of the course, all Uzbek servicemen were awarded international certificates and qualifications of instructors for emergency medical care in the field.

It is expected that in 2023, 15 medical specialists of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan will be trained at these courses, the news agency "Dunyo" reports.

The courses on emergency medical care in the field are an addition to the tactical courses on the treatment of combat wounds developed by the US Department of Defense and proven to be effective in the armed forces of the United States, Canada, Germany and other countries.

Unlike the existing first aid courses, which focus on theoretical and practical training, these courses are aimed at the practical study of first aid during combat, and the organization of safe evacuation on the battlefield to save the lives of the wounded.
