The body of an Uzbek citizen who died at a construction site in Buryatia will be sent home, and a second compatriot will be hospitalized

According to the information of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk, constant contact was promptly established with the law enforcement agencies of Buryatia and the situation was taken under special control, the Dune news agency reports.

It was established that the operator of the tower crane inadvertently damaged the scaffolding, as a result of which the citizens who were on the structure without safety belts fell down.

One of the victims was hospitalized with serious injuries, the second citizen, unfortunately, died.

The law enforcement agencies of Buryatia have opened a criminal case on this fact under part 2 of Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

The Consulate General, in cooperation with the representative office of the Migration Agency in Novosibirsk, is working to send the body of a deceased citizen to Uzbekistan.
