The second stage of the international series of the Grand Chess Tour 2026, the Superbet Chess Classic Romania 2026 tournament, will be held in Bucharest from May 14 to 23. Representative of Uzbekistan Javokhir Sindarov will participate in the competition among the ten strongest grandmasters in the world.
At the moment, the Uzbek chess player is ranked 5th in the world ranking with 2,776 points.

The total prize fund of the tournament is 475 thousand dollars.
