According to the Ministry of Health, Uzbekistan has received the next batch of this vaccine.

Sputnik V, developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, was certified and approved for mass use in Uzbekistan in mid-February. The certification process began after receiving the necessary materials from the developers, in particular, the results of the third stage of clinical trials of the vaccine.

The country has introduced a system of equal distribution of vaccines in all regions. Primarily those at risk are receiving the vaccine.
