Investigation is underway regarding this incident under articles of the Criminal Code related to the abuse of power by officials and the violation of fire safety regulations.
On January 31 of this year, the fire that broke out on the second floor of the shopping mall damaged an area of 800 square meters. More than 20 specialized and water-carrying vehicles were involved in extinguishing it.
Unfortunately, following the unpleasant incident, the body of a three-year-old girl was found among the remains of the building. Currently, the relevant authorities are determining the causes of the fire and providing a legal assessment of the actions of the responsible individuals.
