During the dialogue, the results of the first European Union-Central Asia Summit, held in Samarkand, as well as issues of further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two regions, the consistent development of political dialogue and the expansion of practical cooperation were discussed.

During the visit, the Uzbek delegation held separate meetings with Anton Bura, Chief Adviser to the President of the European Council on Foreign Policy, Olof Skog, Deputy Secretary General of the European External Relations Service, as well as Veronique Petit, Director General for Politics, Security and Defense at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meetings, issues of further deepening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the European Union, the implementation of projects within the framework of the Global Gateway initiative, as well as expanding cooperation in the fields of transport, investment, trade and economy were discussed.

The European side highly appreciated Uzbekistan's active role in strengthening regional cooperation and promoting integration processes in Central Asia, confirming its interest in the practical implementation of the agreements reached, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
