The meeting was attended both in person and online by the heads of former and current tourism administrations from Greece, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Great Britain, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, UAE, Maldives and other countries, European commissioners, members of the European Parliament, as well as representatives of a number of international organizations working in the field of tourism.
The Uzbek side informed the participants about the results of the large-scale reforms carried out in the tourism sector in our country in recent years, including the ongoing work on the development of sustainable tourism. A corner has been organized to widely promote the tourism potential of our country, and a number of videos have been presented.
During the visit, a number of bilateral negotiations were held to discuss the prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of tourism.
