Thus, during the ministerial round table on "Ensuring and strengthening access to justice for all women and girls" and the interactive dialogue on "Closing gaps in the system: ensuring justice for all women and girls", members of the delegation shared the results of reforms aimed at increasing women's access to justice and ensuring gender equality in the judicial system of Uzbekistan.
Members of the delegation also participated in plenary sessions, thematic discussions and various international meetings held during the session, and provided information on the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan to support women, protect their rights and interests, and increase their activity in public and political life.
Along with this, a number of bilateral meetings were held during the visit. Thus, a meaningful dialogue was held with the delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during which issues of further expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the field of women's rights protection, gender equality, increasing economic and social activity of women, as well as strengthening the institution of the family were discussed.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on further development of cooperation, exchange of experience and organization of joint events.
