The village of Chodak has been awarded the status of a "Tourist village"

    The village of Chodak, located in the Papal district of Namangan region, has been awarded the status of a "Tourist village".

    The event, held in the village of Chodak, was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee Sardor Niyazov, Deputy hakim of the region Botir Nuritdinov, deputy hakims of the district, representatives of the public.

    The guests visited several recreation centers and guest houses operating in the area.

    During the event, another modern guest house built in the area was commissioned as a gift for the holiday.

    Also, as a result of the ongoing activities to assign the status of a "Tourist village" to Chodak, which has a high tourist potential, 300 family guest houses, four wellness complexes, three children's camps, two hostels, one camping, 30 gastronomic tourism facilities, four suspension bridges 300 meters long and one glass suspension bridge 50 meters long are functioning meters, an artificial waterfall, as well as extreme routes on a 400-meter-long suspended cable car and more than a hundred ecotouristic sites. As a result, more than 1,500 local residents are provided with jobs.

    Also, in accordance with the instructions of the President given during his visit to Namangan region in February 2021, based on the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 28, 2021, aimed at the integrated socio-economic development of the village of Chodak, 257 projects are being implemented in this region.
