Renaissance Sanatorium is being created for students of Presidential schools

    Resolution No. 65 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 9, 2022 "On measures to organize the activities of the Yoshlik children's sanatorium of the Agency System of Presidential Educational Institutions" was adopted.

    According to the document, the children's sanatorium "Yoshlik" of JSC "Uzmetkombinat", located in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region, was transferred free of charge to the Agency of Presidential Educational Institutions. Within 10 years, Uzmetkombinat JSC will transfer sponsorship funds to cover the costs of maintaining the sanatorium. The Renaissance sanatorium is being created on the basis of the Yoshlik sanatorium.

    The main activities of the sanatorium:

    • strengthening children's health, teaching them to a healthy lifestyle, improving physical fitness;
    • developing the potential of young people in the fields of IT, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics), business management, creativity;
    • entrepreneurship education for young people, support for initiatives and startups;
    • support for young people with disabilities;
    • formation of a database of talented young people and the introduction of mechanisms for systematic work with them.

    The sanatorium works throughout the year, talented children will rest and study there.

    Sources of financing of the sanatorium:

    • sponsorship donations of Uzmetkombinat JSC;
    • funds of the Gifted Youth Support Fund under the Presidential Agency for Education;
    • income from the implementation of startup projects and services;
    • sponsorship funds of legal entities and individuals;
    • grants from international financial institutions and organizations.
