Leone Maliocchetti Lombi, an international expert on vegetable growing of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), held a training seminar for students of the Presidential School of Namangan during his visit to Uzbekistan.
According to Act No. 8 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, approved on April 15 of this year, candidates who took part in the second round of entrance exams to the 5th grade of Presidential schools and did not enroll in school, if they express a desire to study at a specialized school in exact sciences established in each region, will apply and be accepted within the quota based on a sequence of scores (24 candidates) without an exam.
Resolution No. 65 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 9, 2022 "On measures to organize the activities of the Yoshlik children's sanatorium of the Agency System of Presidential Educational Institutions" was adopted.

Educational institutions of a completely new type – Presidential Schools have been established in Uzbekistan. This year, such a school was established in Karshi.
The Agency for Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools (PIIMA) and the NGO Action Group (Edu-Action) signed a memorandum of cooperation.
