The Uzcharmsanoat Association, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, the Export Promotion Agency, as well as Uzbek enterprises are taking part in this exhibition with a collective stand Made in Uzbekistan. At the exposition, more than 20 local enterprises present samples of 200 types of finished leather, shoes, haberdashery, raw materials and components.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the delegation of the Uzcharmsanoat Association held a meeting with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia. Issues of further expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the leather and shoe industry, increasing exports of our country's products, and the implementation of joint projects were discussed.

It should be noted that today 25% of the total demand for leather goods and shoes is produced in Russia. The rest is imported from abroad. Uzbekistan is one of the five main exporting countries of the Russian Federation in the same direction.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the issue of creating a new enterprise in our country together with Mozes INC. was discussed. The representative of the company put forward an initiative to create an enterprise in Uzbekistan for the production of equipment for the leather and shoe industry. In this regard, he got acquainted with the opportunities and benefits provided to foreign investors in our country. The company plans to implement this project in two stages. If the first one involves the production of technologies, then the next stage involves the creation of a joint venture for the production of footwear products. The company will take part in the international exhibition UzCharmExpo-ShoesStar-2023 in Tashkent and sign agreements on the implementation of these projects.

In addition, Belarusian, Turkish companies and Russian buyers are showing great interest in our national products. Export contracts are expected to be signed during the exhibition in Moscow.

The exhibition will continue until February 17 inclusive.
