As a result of the competition, the Uzbek national team won 25 gold, 33 silver and 61 bronze medals - a total of 119 awards, which allowed our team to take fourth place in the team competition. The first three places were taken by the national teams of Russia, Azerbaijan and Belarus.
The III CIS Games have become an important stage of preparation for young Uzbek athletes. Most of the participants represented the reserve team of the youth national teams, as the main team is preparing for the III Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, which will start in 10 days. Despite this, the young athletes showed decent results and made a significant contribution to the overall success of the delegation.
