Innovations and new perspectives: Uzbekistan at the International Exhibition in Milan

    The fashion capital of Italy - Milan once again welcomes representatives of the fashion industry from all over the world. Mipel, an international exhibition of handbags, leather goods and fashion accessories, has started as part of Milan Fashion Week. Exhibitors from all over the world present their latest collections to a professional audience.

    This exhibition is a communication and information platform and provides participants to enrich their business books with new contacts.

    Uzbekistan is also participating in the exhibition for the first time in the search for promising partners. 25 enterprises present their products at the exhibition with the collective stand of the Uzcharmsanoat Association.

    There are already the first results of active negotiations on the sidelines of the expo. Thus, the participant of the International Exhibition Mipel from Italy, Andrea Cardone, during negotiations with the leadership of the Association and enterprises from Uzbekistan, shared the peculiarities of leather goods production in Italy, asked about the conditions created for investors in Uzbekistan, and finally decided to visit the autumn UzCharmExpo 2022 in Tashkent with his stand.

    "We will visit Tashkent with our new collection in October. We want to discuss our commercial proposals with the factories of Uzbekistan. Also interested in buying leather goods from your country. I hope that today's communication is the beginning of future joint success," Andrea Cardone shared his impressions.

    The international exhibition Mipel plays a special role, including as a platform for the exchange of experience in terms of an exclusive approach to working with business and industry enterprises. Expo, which has gathered about 700 companies from all over the world in its pavilions, is holding another explosion under the banner of high-tech technologies, innovations and respect for the environment. According to forecasts of experts of the fashion industry, leather products obtained from plants and biomaterials will be on the wave of popularity in the upcoming season.

    At meetings with representatives of countries with a developed leather shoe industry, such as Italy, Portugal, Germany and Turkey, such topics as the development of technological types of footwear and haberdashery production in our country, exchange of experience and outsourcing were discussed.
