The topic of discussion was the study of China's experience in the development of specialized industrial zones and the placement of projects, the issue of attracting investments from Chinese companies to Uzbekistan.

Jingjiang International Shoe and Textile City is a large complex of exhibition halls, design centers and retail stores, regularly presenting products of manufacturing enterprises in the industry to foreign partners.

In the process of familiarization with the industrial city, a mutual exchange of experience took place on the further development of specialized industrial zones created in Uzbekistan, and the competent placement of projects in them.

There were also dialogues with manufacturers of leather and shoe products operating in the city of Jingjiang. At first, the delegates of the association provided the Chinese side with detailed information about reforms in the leather and shoe industry of Uzbekistan, its production, investment and export potential. Chinese businessmen were presented with a presentation on the activities of Uzbek enterprises.

During the meeting, the Chinese side put forward an initiative to launch an investment project for the production of artificial leather in Uzbekistan. According to the head of one of the companies, the conditions created for foreign investors, benefits and preferences provided by the state can form the basis for many more joint projects.

Chinese entrepreneurs also expressed great interest in the participation of Uzbek companies in the international shoe exhibition in Jinjiang in April and the establishment of cooperation.
