The Huo-Yan Air laboratory complex for detecting the COVID-19 virus was donated to the Ministry of Innovative Development by the Mammoth Foundation of the People's Republic of China. The agreement was signed by the Deputy Minister of Innovative Development Sh. Turdikulova and the head of the Mammoth Foundation Zhao Lijian.

According to the agreement, a mobile laboratory worth 350 thousand dollars will be delivered to Uzbekistan free of charge. The first Huo-Yan Laboratory was built in Wuhan, China, and could detect more than 10 thousand samples per day. At the moment, more than 80 Huo-Yan Laboratories have been installed worldwide

The daily detection throughput is more than 10 thousand samples. This allows for a scalable and rapid emergency response, allowing for rapid and accurate detection of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Of particular importance is the fact that this laboratory can be installed and put into operation in seven days in an emergency zone. That is, a week passes from the preparation of the site for the laboratory to its connection to the power grid and commissioning. The laboratory consists of modules that can be modified on request, has such qualities as low energy consumption, convenient packaging, biodegradability over time. This modern installation can detect not only coronavirus, but also other infectious diseases.

As soon as the laboratory is delivered to our country, trainings on the management and operation of equipment will be organized. The mobile laboratory will be transferred by the Ministry of Innovative Development to the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service.

The signing ceremony was attended by the head of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service Bakhodir Yusupaliyev, representatives of the Mammoth Foundation, employees of the Center for Advanced Technologies, as well as representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China, the press service of the Ministry of Innovation reports.
