The event was attended by the director of the Center for Islamic Civilization Firdavs Abdukhalikov, the Outdoor Factory team led by Sinan Turman and Mario Teddy himself.
During the meeting, issues related to the enrichment of the museum exposition of the Center of Islamic Civilization with the help of modern technologies, the introduction of interactive and innovative projects were discussed. In addition, the possibilities of using visual technologies and digital solutions to create a unique museum experience for visitors were considered.
The Italian scientist is a specialist in multimedia technologies and educational solutions for museums. He is known as one of the leading researchers of Leonardo da Vinci's scientific legacy, his inventions, as well as ancient technologies. In his opinion, modern museums should become not just places of exhibition, but also interactive centers capable of involving visitors in the process of studying history and science.
During the conversation, the introduction of modern interactive devices, virtual reality technologies, holographic demonstrations and artificial intelligence into the museum exposition of the Center for Islamic Civilization was discussed. It was emphasized that thanks to these solutions, visitors will be able to become more familiar with the Islamic civilization, the scientific achievements of great scientists and the ancient cultural heritage.
"The foundations of some of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions go back a long way. It may seem incredible, but he really used the developments of Uzbek scientists - and this is a fact! Our goal is to convey to a wide audience the impact that the work of your scientists has had on Europe, and to demonstrate these discoveries in your country. For example, in Beruni's books you can find a lot of information that Leonardo then used. Obviously, he studied ancient mathematics and geometry. Think about it, the numbers we use in mathematics were invented here on your land! And that's a reason to be proud. Our task is to bring these discoveries back to life with the help of modern technologies," said Mario Teddy.
At the invitation of the leadership of the Center for Islamic Civilization, the Italian guest got acquainted with the museum exhibitions and presented his suggestions for their improvement. In addition, the Outdoor Factory team plans to implement the projects "Second Renaissance", "Time Capsule" and "Time Wall".
It was noted that the use of modern technologies has already proved its effectiveness in a number of international cultural centers. The Center for Islamic Civilization also intends to present the rich cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, the achievements of Islamic science and civilization to the world culture through advanced museum solutions.
