Citizen S.A., who carried out temporary work at the Russian Gingerbread company located in the Kyshtym district of the Chelyabinsk region, appealed to the diplomats of the Consulate General with a request for assistance in returning to her homeland due to financial difficulties, the Dune news agency reports.
During the conversation, it turned out that S.A. came to work at this enterprise in May of this year. At the time of arrival, all expenses, including travel, accommodation and other mandatory payments, were paid by the employer.
A compatriot tried three times to pass the exam for a temporary work permit. However, since she was unable to issue a certificate confirming her proficiency in Russian, she was unable to legalize her stay in Russia, and she found herself in a vulnerable legal position.
S.A. was taken to Yekaterinburg and, thanks to the support of the consulate staff and active representatives of the Uzbek diaspora, she was given an air ticket to return to Uzbekistan.
On July 19, employees of the Consulate General escorted S.A. on the Yekaterinburg -Tashkent flight. She has now been safely returned to her place of permanent residence.
